I was invited somewhere, but while on our way, I noticed an abandoned house that caught my attention. A passerby observed the house and uttered the phrase "Aye Asan," which in English means "World of Vanity." I inquired about the house, and the individual I spoke with pointed to a grave in front of the house that is almost undetectable.
He said, and I quote "that grave belongs to the owner of this house, the frontage of this house was our favorite faaji spot when he was alive, it was in fact the most lively spot in the whole community, he was a nice and generous man, but he lived a really short life. He was about to get promoted where he worked, but sadly he slept and did not wake up. He was a wonderful person, but he died just like that, this world is really nothing"
I just feel like sharing this because I believe this world is vanity too, or what do you think is the essence of this life? Tell me what you think.
